Polyterephthalate-ethylene glycol-1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol copolyester series(PETG、PCTG、PCT)


The main raw materials are terephthalic acid, butanediol, and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol monomers, the proportion of 3rd monomer affects the properties and grades of the product. Generating low-acid-value esterified product by esterification firstly, and then making copolyester by polycondensation reaction, the third monomer forms an amorphous product that is not easy to crystallize. Mainly being used in fields such as packaging materials, sheets, bottles and others.

Two different kinds of process: Batch process and continuous process. Batch process mainly includes single-reactor system, double-reactor system, etc.; Continuous process mainly includes five-reactor process, and some specifications require the addition or use of high-viscosity polycondensation reactor units.
