Polylactic acid series(PLA、PGA)

The main raw material for PLA is bio-based lactide. The main raw material of PGA is bio-based glycolide. Pre-polymerization by initiator-induced ring-opening firstly, and melt devolatilization polycondensation, and making the product with sufficient molecular weight by high-viscosity devolatilization finally. Both PLA and PGA are primarily used in fields such as the production of fibers and packaging materials.

Two different kinds of process: Batch process and continuous process. Batch process is double-reactor system + devolatilizer unit; Continuous process includes a three-reactor + high-viscosity devolatilization reactor process, and individual processes use a mixed tubular reactor.
