Polyamide series(PA)


The main raw materials are lactam or diamine and dicarboxylic acid. Different varieties have different pre-processes. After initiation of ring-opening or condensation of salts, to making PA by tubular reaction, pre-polymerization, and post-polymerization processes. Certain specifications may require further melt viscosity enhancement or solid-phase polymerization. It is widely used in multiple fields such as fibers, plastics, and electronics.

Two different kinds of process: Batch process and continuous process. Batch process mainly includes double-reactor system; Continuous process mainly includes four-reactor process. For ultra-high molecular weight varieties, a high-viscosity polycondensation reactor unit or solid-state polymerization needs to be added.
