A certain company in Jiangsu adopts the complete set of equipment of homogenization and re-polymerization for recycled PET provided by Zhicheng company, which was started in 2020 and completed successively in 2022. Put into operation 5 sets of recycled PET bottle flake melt direct stretching recycled filament production line with a total annual output of 250,000 tons; another 5 sets of similar phase II project totaling 250,000 tons was started in 2022.

The project has large output, many filament specifications, high quality requirements, clothing fabrics to ensure dyeing, export to Europe and the United States. Using recycled bottle chips as raw materials, it demands advanced technology of homogenization and re-polymerization and equipment.

The production line adopts the 3rd generation integrated technology of homogenization and re-polymerization and equipment of Zhicheng company. The company has accumulated nearly 20 years of experience in the field of chemical recycling PET, optimized the internal structure of re-polymerization equipment, enhanced process control means, strengthened raw material pretreatment, and innovated the new technology of raw material water removal on recycled filament varieties. It fully guarantees the quality requirements of high homogeneity of melt for filament spinning.

To meet the schedule requirements of Party A's spinning equipment and pre-installation equipment, we overcame many difficulties to ensure quality and progress during equipment hoisting, ensure smooth installation channel, and complete the construction of the entire spinning building on schedule. After the acceptance of the first phase of the project in 2022, the second phase of the project contract was signed in the same year to rapidly expand production, occupy the market, and radiate at home and abroad.

The successful acceptance of the PET bottle sheet melt direct spinning recycled filament production line marks the successful advent of the first set of large-capacity direct spinning technical equipment for making fabric-grade high-quality PET recycled filament from recycled PET bottle sheets, which has also passed the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification for Europe and America.

This core technology has helped the company's entire recycled filament production line project win one of the 19 projects (technologies) of the 2023 China Industry Award.
